This blog serves as a platform where I can document my journey in the movie industry, starting with some of my admittedly amateur efforts. I hope you will join me on this journey to build Hassan Mohammed Enany Productions into a genuinely exciting professional studio and that this website will serve as an inspiration for your own movie projects.

Under the Hassan Mohammed Enany brand, I have always strived to advocate for ground-breaking experimental cinema both in terms of themes and techniques. I am strongly influenced by the German expressionist movement and the highly stylised reality it seeks to evoke. The creative vision I seek to established through the Hassan Mohammed Enany production company is strongly rooted in this rejection of naturalistic conventions as a means of highlighting some of the more artificial and limiting ideals of modern society.

In terms of the areas that I am particularly interested to develop, I will freely admits that I am still a beginner in the art of the mise en scene. Lighting, especially, has been something that I am not especially confident in beyond a classic three-point set up. My first official project, A Beautiful Tomorrow, was somewhat traditional in its visual presentation of its subjects and this formality is something that I will be working on over the course of the next couple of months. I hope that through blog posts, and other updates on official Hassan Mohammed Enany Productions social media accounts, I can create a database of useful cheat sheets and inspiration for both myself and other aspiring filmmakers who wish to improve their grasp on visual story telling.
